29 Apr Process of Negotiation!
When looking at purchasing or selling a home, something you may not have given much thought to is the process of negotiation! Using negotiation strategies that make every person “WIN” assists clients in multiple ways that are financial, and serve personal needs. I often share how in a game of chess, giving up a pawn can often get you closer to the ultimate next move! When first meeting with someone, a key question is, what goal would you like to achieve that would make our time together be of value to you. By asking this upfront, it not only helps me know what service to provide, they will receive massive information and value in the area that is most important to them during the time spent. The other interesting part of this process is often the people I am meeting have many little items they would like to cover but by focusing on the most important items, we quickly get through items that are not as pressing giving us more time to explore and expand on what is of highest value to them. In negotiation the focus and energy expended is on the items you/they feel are of highest value. I have multiple ways to achieve these goals and it is fun to help people ultimately “win” in ways they never thought of before!
